Following the completion of its full acquisition of MásOrange, its Spanish joint venture, Orange has discontinued the MásOrange corporate brand and unified its Spanish operations under the name Orange España, aligning with Orange’s global operator brand architecture.
MásOrange was formed in 2024 through the merger of Orange and MasMóvil’s Spanish operations, a deal valued at 22 billion euros. The merged entity became the largest telecommunications operator in Spain, with approximately one million mobile customers and 7 million fixed broadband subscribers. At the end of 2025, Orange acquired the remaining stake from its joint venture partner Lorca for 4.25 billion euros, gaining 100% ownership.
This rebranding only applies to the group’s corporate brand. Its consumer-facing commercial sub-brands remain unaffected, with Orange, Yoigo, Jazztel, MásMóvil, Pepephone, Simyo, Euskaltel, R, and Telecable all continuing to operate under their existing names.
Meinrad Spenger, Chief Executive Officer of Orange España, stated that the new brand name clearly reflects the company’s market position: measured by customer count and user satisfaction, the company is a leading operator in the Spanish market, with a continuous focus on investment and innovation to drive Spain’s digital development.
