Globe Business Provides Enterprise Communications API Services

Globe Business offers martech API solutions that enable enterprises to integrate SMS, automated voice notifications, and prepaid rewards capabilities into their websites, apps, CRMs, and business systems. Its official API page lists three categories of services: m360 SMS API, Voice API, and Load/Rewards API, catering to real-time SMS notifications, automated voice communications, and prepaid airtime or rewards distribution scenarios respectively.

The m360 SMS API can be used to send real-time, branded messages such as one-time passwords (OTP) and order confirmation notifications. Enterprises may leverage it for time-sensitive business communications including account security alerts, order status updates, payment reminders, logistics notifications, and customer service. The actual available features, message types, billing, sender identity, and access requirements shall be subject to Globe Business’s contracts, technical documentation, and review outcomes.

The Voice API enables enterprises to enhance customer service and business communications through automated voice calls, such as bill reminders or interactive voice response (IVR) menus. Enterprises may combine automated voice with channels like SMS, app notifications, and live agent support in line with their customer engagement strategies. However, they must ensure clear identity disclosure, control call frequency, and comply with applicable Philippine consumer protection, privacy, and marketing communications regulations.

The Load/Rewards API can be used to distribute prepaid airtime to employees, configure call and data promotions for users, or run customer rewards programs. When enterprises offer benefits to customers or event participants through such services, they shall establish clear eligibility criteria, authorization processes, distribution records, and exception handling mechanisms to prevent misdelivery, abuse of rewards, or exploitation by fraudulent campaigns.

Enterprises shall distinguish between transactional and marketing communications. Messages such as OTPs, account security alerts, and order confirmations shall be necessary and accurate, and shall not contain promotional content. When sending marketing messages, enterprises shall obtain applicable user consent, use a recognizable enterprise identity, and provide reasonable opt-out or complaint channels. Given the Philippines’ SIM real-name registration system and Globe’s measures to block peer-to-peer (P2P) SMS containing clickable links, enterprises shall prioritize audited enterprise messaging routes and branded sender identities.
