SIM box fraud is a pervasive challenge facing the telecommunications industry. Fraudsters use SIM boxes (gateway switches) to disguise international calls as local calls for routing, bypassing operators' normal billing channels and causing huge revenue losses. LATRO provides dedicated fraud detection and revenue assurance solutions to help operators identify, locate and eliminate telecom fraud such as SIM box fraud. The partnership between Halotel and LATRO is a successful example of addressing this persistent issue. LATRO stated that its team provided timely support, which facilitated seamless and efficient collaboration and enabled Halotel to rapidly overcome fraud challenges.
